"Warning - This Film Contains Graphic Violence". Not really a shocker, is it? I mean, what other reason would someone have for watching a Japanese movie titled Cruel Restaurant, than to see just that - graphic violence.

Detroit Metal City got one enticing trailer. It’s funny, lively and intriguing to watch the Kenichi Matsuyama transforms himself into another different character from his well known “L” persona in Deathnote (well two vastly different characters to be exact). However anticipation often ends up in disappointment and Detroit Metal City was that failed to live up to it’s hype.

In only their first movie, director Prachya Pinkaew and lead actor Tony Jaa have created a very impressive, awesome action movie in "Ong Bak". Jaa plays Ting, a muay thai fighter from a small village in Thailand. The villagers revere Ong Bak, a statue of Buddha kept in the village's temple, and believe it guarantees the safety of the village. Don, a former villager turned criminal, removes the head from the statue and takes it to Bangkok, to curry favour from the crime lord Khom Tuan. Ting follows Don to Bangkok and fights for the return of Ong Bak.

"Big Nothing" was a decent collaboration, but lacked punch. RFBR is much closer the mark - classic British humour all dressed up as a good comedy sports romance movie.

Directed by Liu Fendou, Ocean Flame is an arty and erotic drama that should be welcome at many an international film festival - though it's actually quite strange for a Hong Kong release

The simplest way to achieve this is through a total ban on the study and practise of martial arts, with a bounty on the head of anyone disobeying this Imperial edict.

I give it a 2 because there have been worse movies. But, for the most part it was really bad.

If you're into hours and hours of nun-on-nun sex (although technically this movie is only 72 minutes), then this is for you. All others (like myself) may find themselves lapsing into a coma.

It is riding high at number 11 worst film of all time. Deserves to be bottom 10! Reminded me of Eraserhead. You sat there watching this load of crap hoping it would turn into a goose, let alone a swan. But never did.

I didn't expect much from this movie, but it had me and my 18-year-old son laughing almost every minute. That doesn't happen too often. Thanks
